- Main Body & Plates: The top spruce plate and the one-piece flamed maple back plate are structurally sound with NO open cracks, NO splits, and no soundpost fractures.
- Specific Defects: There is a minor visible gap at the neck-body joint where the neck heel meets the button (as shown in the close-up photos). The neck requires gluing/re-setting by a professional luthier during setup.

- Setup Required: The instrument is sold strictly under restoration conditions. It requires a standard luthier setup (neck joint service, restringing, bridge/soundpost adjustment, and general varnish cleaning). The two antique bows have old hair and require re-hairing.

- Original 19th-century heavy black wooden case with authentic red felt lining.
- Original handwritten historical note from 1990.
