19世紀末の古いペアのイヤリングで、18Kイエローゴールド製。細かな透し彫りと細工が施された複雑なフィリグリーと透かし細工、そして浮き彫りの装飾が添えられています。
各イヤリングには天然のヘマタイトを一つずつ組み込み、灰色が非常に濃い黒に近い色と特徴的な金属光沢を持つ、楕円形にカットされた標本が用いられています。石の各サイズはおおよそ15 × 8.3 × 2.4 mmです。
台座は丁寧な手工芸の技が光る仕上がりで、透かし彫りとフィリグリー、装飾的モチーフを組み合わせ、全体に軽さと視覚的な豊かさを与えています。イヤリングの長さは約5 cm、フック式の留め具です。
