The Canon AL-1 QF (1982) occupies an interesting place in camera history: its 'Quick Focus' system used a CCD array and three LEDs in the finder to tell you which way to turn the focusing ring — an electronic focus aid that pointed directly toward the autofocus SLRs which arrived a few years later. Aperture-priority automation and the Canon FD mount sit behind that novelty, and the camera is light and pleasant to use. Offered here with the Canon Zoom Lens FD 35-70mm.
