Francesco Fanelli--Superb vintage 17th-century figurine made in gilded bronze in the workshop of this Italian artist (1590–1653), born in Florence and active in Genoa, but from 1610 he was in England where he worked for King Charles I and later for Charles II, for whom he made a bust in 1640, his only signed work. In 1642 he returned to Italy.
