Limoges産のチャンプレヴェ装飾（Limoges work、opus lemovicense）は、フランス中期12世紀に起源を持つ金属エナメル技法です。この技法は、中世ヨーロッパで宗教用具として知られており、銅板を彫ってエナメル粉を流し込み、焼成して金属に焼き付ける方法です。チャンプレヴェ技法：彫刻・形成：職人が銅板に凹部を彫り抜きます。充填：凹部に色付きエナメル粉を詰めます。焼成：全体を加熱してエナメルを溶かし、金属と結合させます。歴史と成功：黄金時代：12世紀から14世紀にかけて、Limogesはこの芸術の最も偉大な巨匠となりました。対象物：工房は聖遺物、十字架、香炉、ボウルなどを制作しました。流通：これらの品は西方全土へと旅し、教会の需要を満たしました。
