GENERAL:
Cadillac Series 355 A Town Sedan de 1931. El estado general del vehículo es muy bueno, habiendo sido objeto de una restauración completa en el año 2020.
El Cadillac Series 355, introducido en 1931 para sustituir al Series 353, fue una obra maestra de ingeniería propulsada por un suave motor V8 L-head de 5.8 litros. A pesar de haber sido lanzado durante el apogeo de la Gran Depresión, el 355 A demostró el firme compromiso de la marca con el lujo absoluto y la sofisticación técnica. La carrocería Town Sedan para cinco pasajeros equilibraba la elegancia atemporal con proporciones majestuosas. Como dato curioso de la época, este modelo se benefició de la transmisión Synchro-Mesh de Cadillac (pionera en evitar la necesidad del doble embrague) y de cristales de seguridad Shatterproof, posicionándolo como uno de los automóviles de mayor prestigio y confort dinámico de su era.
CARROCERÍA Y PINTURA:
La pintura presenta un buen estado general, a excepción de un pequeño desperfecto en el estribo de la rueda delantera derecha que requiere un leve repaso. Conserva el techo de caucho y equipa unas elegantes llantas de madera restauradas. Los neumáticos se encuentran en buen estado de conservación y presentan muy poco kilometraje.
MECÁNICA:
El vehículo arranca a la perfección y se conduce muy bien. El apartado mecánico únicamente presenta a revisar una leve pérdida de líquido refrigerante.
INTERIOR:
El habitáculo destaca por conservar la tapicería y los paneles de las puertas originales sin restaurar. En el panel de instrumentos funcionan correctamente todos los testigos, a excepción del reloj.
DOCUMENTACIÓN:
El proceso de restauración completa realizado en 2020 se encuentra rigurosamente documentado mediante fotografías. El vehículo cuenta actualmente con la ITV válida y al día en España.
RECOGIDA:
El vehículo se encuentra listo para su inspección y recogida en Zaragoza, España.
