De kachel is in prima staat, alleen het scharniertje van het deurtje aan de rechterkant is gebarsten en de tegel rechts bevat een barst. De kachel is ongeveer 100 jaar oud. De tegels zijn keramisch en de rest is van gietijzer. De kachel is afkomstig van Zwiterland en gemaakt door de fabrikant Haupt & Ammann. De afmetingen zijn, hoogte 121cm, breedte 41cm en een diepte van 52cm. De kachel weegt tussen de 100 en 150 kg. Is wel te demonteren in delen. De kleuren zijn zwart en honingbruin.
