Beautiful and iconic set of four stackable ashtrays, designed by the legendary Japanese designer Isamu Kenmochi in the 1970s. This timeless Space Age design combines a sleek, high-gloss chrome outer rim with colorful, removable melamine inner liners.

The set is in excellent vintage condition. The colored melamine inserts (blue, lime green, and dark green) are near perfect, with no burn marks or cigarette traces. The chrome finish on the blue, lime green, and dark green ashtrays is in excellent, glossy condition. The ashtray with the black insert shows some visible spots/pitting in the chrome (see detailed photos), which is normal for its age. A true eye-catcher for any modern or mid-century modern interior!
