左向きのジョージ5世の肖像を描いた1 Piastre、王冠と儀礼用の制服を着用した現実的なスタイルで、当時の英国貨幣に characteristic なリアリズムを持つ。裏面には中央に額面、周囲に通貨名、キプロス名と日付が配置され、縁に花紋の装飾が施された美しいコスプレのような外周を持つ。此の個体は優れた保存状態を保ち、浮彫ははっきりした線で、地表は清潔、薄い明るい茶色のパティナの下に元の光沢が部分的に見える。MS63 の格付けに相応しい。英国統治下のキプロスにおいて鋳造されたこの貨幣は、島に導入された帝冠のコロニアル貨幣制度の一部であり、地中海東部における大英帝国の政治・経済的影響を reflecting している。
