Description from the seller
J. Roccaのミニャ・ヴィオリン?
A fine old master full-size (4/4) violin, labeled:
“Joseph Rocca fecit Taurini anno Domini 1847 TGR.”
This instrument is in ready-to-play condition. It features a small, professionally repaired crack at the right f-hole and another minor, well-repaired crack at the endpin. Overall, it remains in good condition.
The top is made from high-quality spruce with a fine, even grain. The one-piece maple back shows an irregular yet attractive flame, well matched with the sides and scroll, giving the instrument a harmonious and classic appearance.
It is finished in a rich golden amber varnish with visible signs of age and wear, enhancing its authentic character and highlighting the quality of the tonewoods.
Measurements: total length 588 mm, back length 358 mm. Upper bouts 164 mm, middle bouts 111 mm, lower bouts 204 mm (full size).
The violin offers a warm, sweet, and mellow tone with a rich character and strong, powerful projection.
Worldwide insured shipping available.
Violins and bows described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and are therefore considered to have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin, and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee of any kind
