エレガントな木製一体成形の装飾的な柱/ポ pedestal、1980年代にさかのぼる伝統的な木工旋盤加工と強く彫刻的な垂直デザインが特徴。

柱は広く円形の階段状ベースで、同心円状のモールディングがいくつも施され、丸みを帯びたセクション、リング、装飾的プロファイルを持つ精巧な回転芯を支えます。上部は八角形の木製プラットホームで仕上げられ、エッジは少し斜角で、自然な木目が明瞭に見えます。

木材は暖かな中位茶色のトーンで、磨き上げられた光沢と、色味・木目の自然な変化がヴィンテージならではの本物らしさを引き立てます。芯となる回転部の細かな加工とモールディングの連続が、作品に魅力的で上品な外観を与えています。

Vintage turned wooden pedestal / column – 1980s

Elegant decorative solid wooden pedestal column, dating from the 1980s, featuring traditional turned craftsmanship and a strongly sculptural vertical design.

The column is composed of a wide circular stepped base, decorated with several concentric mouldings, supporting an elaborately turned shaft with rounded sections, rings and decorative profiles. The top is finished with an octagonal wooden platform, with softly bevelled edges and clearly visible natural wood grain.

The wood has a warm medium-brown tone, with a polished finish and natural variations in colour and grain that enhance its authentic vintage character. The detailed turning of the central shaft and the succession of moulded elements give the piece an attractive and elegant appearance.
