Exclusive vintage lithographed metal sign from the 1950s/1960s, manufactured for the French market by the iconic Italian beverage brand Cinzano.
The sign features the legendary avant-garde diagonal split design (blue and red) with the "CINZANO" lettering in cream white. The bottom right corner displays the French phrase "EN VENTE ICI" (On Sale Here) , originally meant to attract customers outside cafes and bistros.
An essential detail for collectors is the maker's mark in the bottom left corner: "H. PHILIPPAULT - Montreuil" , a well-known French lithographic factory specialized in advertising signs during the mid-20th century.
