Item Description
これは、日本を代表する漆芸の一つである会津塗の上質な漆器の文箱（fumibako）です。福島県の会津地方に起源を持ちます。箱は蓋と底の両方に深く光沢のある深紅色の漆表面を備え、蓋には金と銀の蒔絵で菊の花を描く、目を引くデザインが用いられています。蓋と底の内側は真っ黒な漆で仕上げられており、赤い外装との elegant な対比を生み出しています。

Quality Aizu-nuri workmanshipの特徴である丸みを帯びた柔らかなシルエットで、蓋と底の接合部には穏やかな段差がついています。A4の書類、手紙、または銀行通帳・印鑑などの貴重品をゆったり収納でき、インテリアの装飾品としても適しています。

全体的に美品で、漆表面は艶を強く保っています。斜めからの照明で近接検査を行うと、表面の薄い微細な擦傷と、経年と軽い使用感に伴う小さな痕跡が見られますが、著しい欠け・ひび割れ・漆の欠損はありません。写真も状態説明の一部として参照されます。
