Vintage French “Service Bistrot” porcelain set designed by Jacques Lobjoy for Porcelaine d’Auteuil, with APILCO production marks on part of the service. An elegant and highly recognizable French bistro service dating from the 1970s, featuring thick white porcelain with the characteristic brick-red/orange and black linear decoration. The set includes lion-head soup bowls, matching cups and saucers, a lidded milk pitcher marked “Lait”, and a matching lidded serving piece. Several pieces bear the original “Service Bistrot – Porcelaine d’Auteuil – Paris-France – Création Jacques Lobjoy – Made in France” mark, with APILCO markings also present.
