Saab 900 NG Turbo Cabriolet, 1995, located in Northern Italy, manual transmission, petrol, green, 182 HP, matching numbers and colours, 123,985 km, Italian registration, ASI registration, valid MOT, certificate available.
Description from the seller
IN RISALTO:
• Iconic Saab 900 NG Turbo Cabriolet with ASI registration
• Metallic green paint with vintage three-spoke alloy wheels
• Electrically operable soft top
• Well-maintained mechanics with numerous recent restoration interventions and new turbo regulate valve
• Accompanied by the original unlocked and fully functioning radio
STORIA/PANORAMICA:
La Saab 900 NG (New Generation), introduced in the 1990s and developed on the GM2900 platform, inherits the charismatic legacy of the iconic 900 "Classic" while adopting smoother, rounder lines. The Turbo Cabriolet variant stands out as one of the most original and elegant four-seat discoveries of the decade, preserving the unmistakable facial features of the Swedish brand, such as the distinctive front with windscreen wipers and the iconic three-spoke alloy wheels.
This 1995 example is ASI-listed, regularly registered in Italy, and has been kept in good overall condition with several maintenance works carried out.
CARROZZERIA/VERNICIATURA:
The bodywork is in generally good condition in the classic metallic green color. As noted and documented in photos, there is a repaint on the lower part of the rear bumper. The canvas soft top opens and closes autonomously, but shows a slight misalignment in the mechanism, requiring a light manual assist at full opening (adjustment of the mechanism stroke can resolve this).
INTERNI:
The cabin is preserved in excellent condition, with intact plastics and no unpleasant odors. All electrical components function, including the air conditioning (with new expansion valve), the audio system, power windows, and the top mechanism. The dash currently houses a 1DIN mask adapter, and the original Saab radio is included, unlocked and working. The SRS warning light on the instrument cluster is on due to the past accidental removal of a fuse; disabling it requires a reset via Saab dedicated autodiagnosis (airbags are intact and operational).
MECCANICA:
The turbo engine runs smoothly and has undergone significant routine and extraordinary maintenance. The car is equipped with a new turbo control valve and new vacuum hoses.
Specifically, the following work has been performed:
* Replacement shocks with new mounts
* Replacement of clutch cable
* Replacement of the central exhaust and muffler
* Complete general service
* Replacement of various engine sensors (rail pressure valve, lambda sensor, oil recirculation valve, intake air temperature sensor)
* Replacement of expansion valve for the air conditioning system
* Replacement of CV joint boots
The tires are Nankang with about 10,000 km traveled.
DOCUMENTI:
The car is regularly registered in Italy with valid circulation documents and is provided with ASI certification/registration.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
