Description A delicately potted cup and matching saucer, finely decorated in soft, luminous famille rose enamels with a central roundel of a full-blown peony surrounded by stylised lotus and foliate scrollwork. The saucer features a richly detailed border of overlapping petals and floral medallions in vibrant rose, green, yellow and pale blue, echoed perfectly on the flared rim of the cup — elegantly balanced and harmoniously coloured, characteristic of Yongzheng-period refinement.
