La Fornasotta - Gabriele Urban - パフュームボトル (2) - ムラーノ吹きの多色ガラス、ムリーニ入り、24Kゴールド使用 - ガブリエレ・アーバン

Gabriele Urban – La Fornasotta (attributed) – Refined Pair of Murano Murrine and 24kt Gold-Leaf Decorative Perfume Bottles with Leaf Stoppers DESCRIPTION A refined complementary pair of hand-blown Murano art-glass perfume bottles, attributed to Maestro Gabriele Urban of the La Fornasotta glassworks. Although individually handmade and slightly different in size and decoration, the bottles share the same elegant spherical “boule” form, gently flared neck and sculptural clear-glass stopper shaped as a leaf. Both the bodies and stoppers incorporate shimmering 24kt gold-leaf inclusions, creating a warm luminosity that changes beautifully as the glass catches the light. The first bottle features a particularly rich arrangement of multicoloured millefiori murrine in shades of turquoise, blue, red, green, ochre and white. The intricate canes are set against an extensively decorated gold-leaf ground, producing a vibrant and highly detailed composition. The second bottle has a softer, more delicate palette, combining turquoise glass with white floral murrine, pale blue, yellow and ochre accents. Generous gold-leaf inclusions extend across the spherical body and around the flared neck, creating sparkling reflections and a sense of depth within the glass. Displayed together, the contrasting colour schemes form a harmonious and highly decorative composition. Their small differences in size and pattern emphasise their handmade character while their shared form, materials and leaf-shaped stoppers unite them as a complementary pair. One bottle retains part of its original Consorzio “Vetro Artistico Murano” label. This label supports its Murano origin and association with the registered glassworks. The spherical form, elaborate millefiori decoration, gold-leaf inclusions and characteristic leaf-shaped stoppers are consistent with documented works associated with Gabriele Urban and La Fornasotta. As no artist-specific engraved signature is visible, the pair is offered as attributed to Maestro Gabriele Urban. Each bottle was individually formed and decorated by hand. Slight differences in dimensions, shape, colour distribution, bubbles and internal inclusions are natural characteristics of traditional Murano glassmaking and should not be considered manufacturing defects. DIMENSIONS Multicoloured perfume bottle: Height including stopper: 12 cm Maximum width: 6.5 cm Weight: 111 g Turquoise perfume bottle: Height including stopper: 11.5 cm Maximum width: 6.5 cm Weight: 100 g CONDITION Both perfume bottles are presented in excellent pre-owned condition. The glass remains intact, glossy and brilliant, with no chips, cracks or notable signs of wear observed. Small bubbles, inclusions, tool marks and minor irregularities are characteristic of traditional hand-blown glass production and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description and condition report. The two bottles and their removable stoppers will be wrapped individually, securely boxed and dispatched using tracked and insured delivery.

Gabriele Urban – La Fornasotta (attributed) – Refined Pair of Murano Murrine and 24kt Gold-Leaf Decorative Perfume Bottles with Leaf Stoppers

DESCRIPTION

A refined complementary pair of hand-blown Murano art-glass perfume bottles, attributed to Maestro Gabriele Urban of the La Fornasotta glassworks.
