This is a plaque , a decorative bas-relief made of patinated copper, featuring a Christian depiction of the Holy Trinity (God the Father, Jesus Christ on the Cross, and the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove).
The plate is cast from copper; I verified this on the reverse side by deeply scraping one of the casting edges.
The piece bears a mark, which I personally interpret as a date: March (III) 1860.
A remarkable plate—an excellent acquisition for any collector of authentic, antique religious artifacts.
It measures 29 cm in height and 22 cm in width, and weighs 1.300 kg.
