珍しい初版で、299部限定。四巻。本冊はリヴ blanc または teinté の30部のうちの1冊である。
147点のリトグラフ図版の組を収録。23点の肖像画の組は別巻として、Massonによる2点のオリジナル図版（インディアンインクで、洗練された彩色を施したもの）が第1巻に綴じ込まれている。さらに、12点の拒否版も付属している。
マルタン＝ブレの署名入り装丁で美しく仕上げられている。各巻とも統一された濃い茶系の総革装丁で、表紙には金箔押しと浮き彫りのデザイン、背表紙には金文字が施されている。リブ（継ぎ目）と背の縁には軽い擦れがある。これを除けば内外ともに非常に良好な状態。
この四巻本で、元図版付きの同等品を他に見つけられない。本文はフランス語。
33 x 26 cm、244、256、C200（無番号の図版）、C100（無番号の図版）。頁

1947年、同作の百周年を記念して、パリの出版社が壮大な図版版として刊行した。
レオン・マッサンによる147点のオリジナルリトグラフに加え、登場人物の23名の肖像の別巻が付属。
これはリヴス紙（白または teinté）版のうち、30部限定のデラックス版の1冊である。コレクター向けの特典として、
23点の肖像を別冊として、
作者または出版社が最終本から拒否した12点のリトグラフ（拒否版、planches refusées）、
そして本冊にはMassonによるインクと wash の2点のオリジナル画が第1巻に綴じられている。いずれも作者の手による、唯一無二の作品である。

We are professional booksellers based in France, and have been members of ILAB for many years. We currently hold full membership of SLAM, as well as other organisations. We also sell at fairs and markets across Europe.
We are often found at brocantes and marches, searching for books and prints. We are also always interested in acquiring new stock from individuals, so if you have books or prints to sell, do get in touch.
We are proud to purchase biodegradable packaging and materials. Where possible, all of our book wrap and tape are compostable or re-cyclable. If you do receive any plastic bubble wrap from us - it is because we are re-using items we have received.
