Crafted using the openwork (*sukashi-bori*) technique, it features a striking star-shaped (hexagram) design. The piece is forged from iron, displaying a deep brown, aged patina and a natural, time-honored rusted texture. The central aperture for the sword tang (*nakago-ana*) is clearly visible, and there are traces of an antique copper repair or inlay at the bottom.
