アッシリア文化では、パズズは悪霊の王で、身体は人間で頭は獅子か犬をしていた。パズズは護符として呼ばれ、彼のライバルの力に対抗し、出産の際に母と子を傷つけた女神ラマシュトゥに対抗する。\nこの護符は非常に良い状態である。（紀元前900–650年）\nこれらのパズズはネックレスのペンダントとして使われるものもあり、より大きいものは家の扉の上に取り付けて守護として用いられた。\nこのパズズ護符はパズズを多数所蔵する男性のもので、彼は何年も前にそれらを集めた。\n彼は1995年に別のコレクターからこのパズズ護符を購入した。（最後のコレクターは1985年以前に購入した）。販売者は当該品が法的に取得されたことを証明できる。出所に関する声明はCatawikiで確認済み。販売者は必要な許可が手配されるよう手配する。
