皿 - Majolica

アルビソラ産の美術マイオリカによる華麗なパレード皿 / 壁掛け皿。

製造元: 伝統現代美術陶器工房 Giuseppe Mazzotti、アルビソラ・マリーナ（SV）、1903年創業。後に M.G.A.として知られる。裏面には手書きの刻印「M.G.A. + 23」- 「底下に茶色でM.GA」の標識として文献に記録されている、20世紀初頭のアルビソラに由来する標識。

技法: 白い錫釉を施したマイオリカで、全面を手描きの藍色で装飾する。500年以降に形成された“bianco e blu”の古典的様式で、サヴォーナ/アルビソラの伝統的な青と白の表現。

装飾: 辺縁は大きく浮彫りのロカイユ風の波打つ装飾で、6つの帆船や海岸風景を収めたパネル（リーブ付き）。中央には神話的な人物と女性、キューピッドを描く大きな寓意的図像（ヴォルカヌス/ヘラクレス）を配した史詩的な場面。19世紀復興期のMollica、Cantagalli、アルビソラ工房の作品群でよく見られる主題を採用。

尺寸: 直径28 cm、高さ約4–5 cm。

コンディション: ヴィンテージとして良好で、写真に明記された欠陥あり。写真をよくご確認ください。
• 礁ぎ目に達する細い亀裂が縁から縁へ、底部まで広がる(裏面写真を参照)。経年により安定。
• 側縁の1つのパネル縁部に釉薬の欠損を伴う微小な欠け（約1 cm）。
それ以外は釉薬は艶やかで色鮮やか。壁掛け/コレクション品として完璧。写真は説明の一部です。

Large Italian parade / wall charger in artistic majolica.
Manufacture: Fabbrica di Ceramiche d'Arte Tradizionali e Moderne Giuseppe Mazzotti, Albisola Marina (SV), Liguria, founded in 1903 and later known simply as "M.G.A." - the most famous Albisola factory, later renowned for Futurist collaborations with Tullio d''Albisola. The handwritten mark M.G. + 23 on the back is the documented "M.GA in brown under the base" mark for Albisola early 20th century.

Technique: Tin-glazed earthenware (maiolica) with opaque white glaze, entirely hand-painted in cobalt blue monochrome - the classic "bianco e blu" / "berettino" style invented in Savona / Albisola since the 15th century.

Decoration: Highly moulded lobed rocaille border with 6 cartouches with small landscapes (ships, rocks). Central istoriato scene depicting a mythological figure with hammer (Vulcan / Hercules) with a female figure and Cupid - a recurring mythological theme in the 19th-century revival production of Mollica, Cantagalli and Albisola factories.

Dimensions: Diameter 28 cm (11 inches), height approx. 4-5 cm.

Condition: Good vintage condition with declared flaws visible in photos - please study photos carefully, they are part of the description:
• One stable hairline crack running from the rim to the footring on the back (see photos 2-3), old and stable
• Small chip with glaze loss on the rim edge of one cartouche, approx. 1 cm
Otherwise glossy glaze, bright colours. Perfect as a wall display / collector's piece.
