この品はエンコルピオン（胸部聖遺物箱の一種）で、中世ビザンツ帝国期、特に西暦11世紀から13世紀に非常に人気がありました。中央の像は祈りの姿勢で中介者として聖母マリアを描いており、腕を祈りのポーズで掲げています。この姿勢は、人間と神聚との仲介者としての彼女の役割を象徴しています。像の頭部を囲む刻まれた円は、彼女の聖性と神性を示しています。物体の輪郭そのものが邪悪を払い、着用者を物理的に保護する聖なる護符とみなされてきました。
来歴：EU市場で2000年代に取得されたドイツ私蔵コレクション、競売で購入、2026年、オランダ

The pieces we offer come from the Ifergan Collection Museum, which guarantees their historical value and quality. Our goal is to bring authentic archaeological pieces to both collectors and those who wish to start collecting, offering original works for different budgets and always with the maximum guarantees.
