Cassiopea andromeda – 他の多くのクラゲとは異なり、海底に横たわり、腕を日光の方へ向けている。体内に住む微小な共生藻が日光を利用して栄養を作り出し、クラゲの生存を助ける。このディアフォニゼーション標本は自然な形を美しく保っている。光の下では、半透明の体が柔らかな青色に輝き、繊細で花のような腕があらゆる方向へ優雅に広がる。

  Cassiopea andromeda – Unlike most jellyfish, it rests on the seafloor with its arms facing the sunlight. Tiny symbiotic algae living inside its body use sunlight to produce nutrients, helping the jellyfish survive. This diaphonized specimen beautifully preserves its natural shape. Under light, the translucent body glows with a soft blue hue, while its delicate, flower-like arms spread gracefully in every direction.
