洗練された絹製の四曲屏風、菖蒲の花が咲く。 - Paper, Silk - Japan - 昭和時代(20世紀後半)
A refined four-panel folding screen (byōbu) on silk, painted in ink with elegant blooming irises (kakitsubata).
The graceful flowers rise from clusters of slender leaves against a luminous silk ground, creating a serene and beautifully balanced asymmetrical composition.
Signed in the lower left corner. The screen is set within a black lacquer frame.
Byōbu (屏風), literally “wind protection screens,” are traditional Japanese folding screens originally created to divide spaces and today appreciated above all as striking wall-mounted paintings.
--- The byobu is in very good condition. Please refer to the pictures for further details.
The item will be carefully packed and shipped via DHL or FedEx, accompanied by the original certificate of authenticity issued by Mastromauro Japanese art gallery based in Milan, Italy.
