この宝石には透花細工が施されており、細い金線をねじって洗練されたモチーフ、今回は elegant な小さな球体を作り出しています。さらにこの作品にはグラナレーション（粒金法）も使用されています。グラナレーションは金細工師がごく小さな金の粒（グラニュール）を用い、それを部品に接着せず溶接して固定する技法です。どちらの技法も製作者の高度な技量と正確さを要求します。
印記
指輪の外側には花の形のV字と、それに続くイタリック体の’i’に似たスタンプが刻まれています。さらにダイヤ形の紋章が stamp のようにも見えますが、傷の印かもしれません。V字は1817年から1831年の間、小規模な国内品に使われていました。
