日本、20世紀初頭の打鋼による優雅なトランポライ鳥を象った二つの彫像。鋳鉄で加工・組み立てられた二体の鳥像は、スタイリライズされたトランポライを思わせる形態で、鶴や鷺の輪郭に結びつけられる。細長い脚と長い首が、縦方向への推進と内省の調和的な対話を描き出し、羽毛は重ね板で体積を得、切り抜かれ、そして小型のものでは微細に彫刻されている。大型の方は口を開いたくちばし、頭部の小さな房、尾羽が開いた動きで際立つ。全体は東洋の装飾的な想像の中で、水鳥の優雅さを喚起させる。酸化、摩耗、彩色仕上げの残留痕が表面に見られ、特に大型のほうに顕著である。

Due sculture in ferro lavorato e assemblato, raffiguranti trampolieri stilizzati, riconducibili alle forme di gru e aironi, attribuibili ai primi anni del XX secolo. Le esili zampe e i lunghi colli delineano un armonioso dialogo fra slancio verticale e raccoglimento, mentre il piumaggio acquista volume attraverso lamine sovrapposte, ritagliate e, nell’esemplare minore, minutamente incise. Il maggiore si distingue per il becco dischiuso, il piccolo ciuffo sulla nuca e le penne della coda aperte in un movimento vivace. L’insieme evoca l’eleganza degli uccelli acquatici nell’immaginario decorativo orientale. Superfici con ossidazioni, usure e residui di finitura colorata, particolarmente visibili sull’esemplare maggiore.
