素晴らしいセレスティナ ジオード・ブロック - Height: 10 cm - Width: 10 cm- 1210 g

Natural Celestine Crystal Cluster - Pale Blue Crystals on Matrix - Madagascar An attractive Celestine specimen from Madagascar, featuring a closely intergrown cluster of pale blue crystals on a contrasting grey-white matrix. The display face reveals broad, reflective crystal surfaces arranged at different angles, creating a lively interplay of light across the specimen. Colours range from soft sky blue to cooler blue-grey, with transparent to translucent areas revealing internal fractures and delicate variations in clarity. Rather than a deep, open geode cavity, this specimen presents a compact crystalline formation with small recesses between the larger crystals. Its irregular outline and overlapping crystal faces give it a distinctive sculptural character, particularly when viewed from the front and above. The sides and reverse retain a substantial covering of rough matrix, showing the contrast between the crystalline interior and the surrounding material. Uneven edges, cleavage surfaces and small surface irregularities are visible in the photographs and should be considered when assessing its condition. Celestine, also known as Celestite, is a strontium sulfate mineral with the chemical formula SrSO₄. Its characteristic pale blue colour and vitreous lustre make it a particularly appealing mineral for display. Photographed on a transparent display stand, this specimen offers an engaging combination of delicate colour, reflective crystal faces and natural texture, suited to a mineral cabinet or a curated natural history collection.
