亀屋忠兵衛と梅川の物語は、近松門左衛門の人形浄瑠璃『冥途の使い（地獄への急便）』に遡ります。初演は1711年。忠兵衛は大阪の引き配達問屋の養嗣子で、土屋の花魁梅川に恋をします。 rival に煽られ、彼が渡すべき金の小包の封を破って自由を買い取ります。これは重大な犯罪で、二人は二人の故郷・仁木町へ逃避します。

With growing worldwide interest in Japanese woodblock prints, gallery prices have been climbing steadily. My goal is simple: offer high-quality, authentic prints at reasonable prices. I'm picky about what I sell — I look for pieces that have been stored properly, kept flat, and are free from serious foxing, stains, or damage.
I'm based in Germany, which means EU buyers won't deal with any import duties or taxes. For US buyers, original artworks under HS code 9702 are duty-free as well. And wherever you are, I pack everything carefully with multiple layers of protection so your print arrives safely.
