古代ローマ時代のモザイクガラス製・多眼ビーズ。
丸みを帯びた球状の形をした、ひときわ魅力的で装飾性の高い古代ガラスビーズです。赤から珊瑚色の豊かな地色が特徴で、表面全体に多数の目のモチーフが施されています。
目の装飾には、黄色／黄土色、クリームホワイト、青緑色、濃色を組み合わせた鮮やかな多色使いが見られます。赤い中心部はビーズ本体の色と美しく調和しています。現存する目のモチーフの数が多く、色彩の対比も際立っているため、生き生きとした視覚的に魅力のある品となっています。
