皇妃の肖像が刻まれた古代ローマの銀の指輪
西暦2～4世紀頃
幅広で断面が平らな輪が、厚みのある肩部分から大きな楕円形の台座へと広がる、興味をそそる銀の指輪です。平らな面には、左を向いたローマ皇妃の肖像が刻まれており、丁寧に整えられた巻き毛の髪型が精緻に表現されています。
サイズ：2cm x 2,3cm x 1,5cm
来歴：ヨーロッパの個人コレクション。1970年代以降に形成された、英国およびヨーロッパの旧コレクションから以前に取得。
