Vergulde messing ornamenten met florale krullen, acanthusbladeren en bloemmotieven verwijzen naar Rococo-invloeden. Het topornament (de urn met krulhandvatten) is typerend voor Franse decoratieve kunst uit die tijd. Uurwerk goed / loopt Materiaal Kast: gemaakt van albast of onyx (een halfdoorzichtig natuursteen dat in de 19e eeuw populair was voor luxe klokken). Ornamenten: verguld messing of brons, vaak met de hand gegoten via de cire perdue (verlorenwas) techniek.
