Authentic sabre for the light cavalry, with a sheath, in good condition

Hussar sabre from the period 1790–1810 (1st Empire/Napoleon), France

Copper hilt, leather handle with braided copper wire wrapped around.
Leather sheath with copper frames.

Slightly bent, single-edge and decorated blade with symbols that were in use around 1800 (drums, floral patterns) and a Solinger rose on the back.

Total length 97 cm, width of blade 37 mm.

In good condition.
Slight play on the hilt.
The blade is somewhat stained and at the sheath, the carrying strap at the top is refastened (minor glue traces visible) and the leather at the height of the 'sleepstuk' is somewhat cracked open at the back.
