Particularly nice and unrestored Citroen / Lomax 224 from 1981, therefore 37 years old!
It has a Dutch Periodic Vehicle Inspection valid until 11th April 2020 (!), fully permitted and wonderfully roadworthy. This Lomax 224 has, since the conversion from 2CV6 to Lomax in 1998 and subsequent new registration, only driven 10,864 km.
That is approx. 550 km per year (!). With a print-out from the ‘National Auto Pas’, in other words demonstrable mileage.
This Lomax is wonderfully basic and with the original 2CV6 engine, therefore 2 cylinders, 602 cc and a manual 4-speed transmission. Drum brakes front and rear. This Lomax offers endless driving pleasure and is easy to maintain. Technically, this is a Citroen 2CV6.
The car comes with Dutch papers and can be delivered with EU export papers, any foreign new owner can easily register the Lomax in his/her country.
The car is in excellent condition, the interior looks like new, beautiful upholstery in the back and a nice dashboard. The backrest folds for easy access to the luggage compartment which is surprisingly large. Scratch on the left front fender, when the full steering angle is reached, the fender comes into contact with the exhaust. See pictures. The car also has a lovely patina, a bit of aged colour on the plastic structure, in other words it isn’t entirely homogeneous in colour.
It starts, drives, shifts and brakes as new. The car is ready for use and is a lot of fun to drive.
Despite the car already being 37 years old, it is particularly easy to drive, partly thanks to its 4-speed gearbox.
Everything works properly!
The car drives great, a fantastic classic which will only increase in value.
The seller can assist with transport arrangements throughout the EU.
