Design collaboration between Vallecchi publishing house and the prestigious Visconti company from Florence. The “1903” fountain pen was produced in 2003 to commemorate the centenary of the Florentine publishing house in the limited number of 100 copies. Technical characteristics: in the spirit of tradition, only resins and celluloid were used as a base for the pen. These typically twentieth-century materials are elegant, shatterproof, resistant to inks and eco-friendly. Each piece is hand-crafted by lathing raw bars piece by piece. In the gold version, the filigree and ring are engraved on a gold tube and the clip is a gold investment casting embellished with two sapphires. Each fountain pen has its own story to tell, starting from cutting and passing through lathing, to arrive to the final assembly thanks to the work of experienced craftsmen and eventually reach its owner’s hand as the ideal writing companion. The pen has been never used. It is sold with original box and certificate. The counter box is missing.
