A beautiful sculpture of a seated lion.

It is made after the example of the work of the French sculptor Antoine Louis Barye (1796-1875).

It is made of a nice quality bronze and is cast by Jno Williams Inc., a foundry from New York. The American foundry started in 1875 and closed in 1956.

From the early 20th century.

Signature: Barye.

Inscription: Jno. Williams Inc. NY.

It has signs of age and is in good condition, the pictures speak for themselves.
