Henk Wolvers – Rounded square vase - 1999.
This exclusive square vase with rounded corners is built-up from an extremely thin, round plate of white porcelain, with embossed strips and black striped highlights.
Partly matte, partly glossy glaze.
This was the method used by the internationally renowned ceramist Henk Wolvers in 1999. Marked with his monogram and dated: ‘HW99’. It is approx. 18.5 cm tall. It is approx. 7 x 7 cm wide.
The vase is flawless and pick-up is preferred due to its fragility. Delivery after appointment. If this proves to be impossible, the piece will be shipped properly packaged.
Henk Wolvers (1953) belongs to a select group of ceramists. He has a large studio in Den Bosch, The Netherlands. His work can be found in both private and in museum collections.
