A very fine antique Chinese plate with beautiful and unusual painting of a Chinese lady immortal on a crane bird flying over a wavy sea towards a temple tower. The central decoration enclosed by antiquities and scholar object. Vases with peacock feathers, bonsai plants, scrolls with ribbons, censer on stand and sprays of flowering prunus branches.

Some small chips and frits on the rim which is very typical for these early 18th century export porcelain wares. Three of these small chips on the rim stabilized / neatly filled. The plate rings like a bell when tapped with finger.
