Australians Dabs and Myla are a couple in town as well as on screen. They are known for their monumental frescoes where simple lettering coexists with a large number of characters. They can be inspired in sign painting, cartoons and more generally in fifties imagery. It is difficult to differentiate the respective styles of this fusional pairing as their works are uniform and seem the result of a single artist. That's why in recent years they have merged their respective nicknames under a single banner: DabsMyla.
They worked everywhere in the globe, whether to paint a giant wall, to colour a film set or to create a gallery installation.
In 2009, they moved their studio to Los Angeles, a veritable HQ from which they plan their next interventions, from Rio to London via Detroit, Norway or Tahiti...
Montana Colors dedicates them a bombshell from the 2019 limited edition series.
The design of the spray paint can is lithographed, i.e., printed directly on the metal and not affixed to a simple paper label.
This model is produced in a limited edition of 500 copies stamped by the artist. Each spray paint can is sold in a wooden box with display window, enough to satisfy the most demanding collectors.
