Wooden puppet head, eyes inlaid with mother-of-pearl. The face is made up with a mix of fish bile and tamarind resin.
In Yok Thei Pwe theatre, this head is that of Minthanee, the famous princess recognizable by her face and her hairstyle.

Former Belgian collection, acquired in Burma near the Kuthodaw temples by the father of the current owner before 1990.
