Superb Lion of St. Mark (Serenissima) in high relief, made of Carrara marble and dating back to the late 20th century.
This artwork was entirely carved and sculpted by hand.
Coming from the city of Venice, it was located at the entrance of an important noble palace of the Venetian city.
Very high quality and rare beauty.

In excellent condition.
On back you can see remains of lead, a clear sign that it was anchored to the wall.
