Very popular between the late nineteenth century and the early twentieth century, this French model allowed to pour a certain quantity of champagne from the bottle without opening it. The steel tube ends in a worm, like a corkscrew. Once inserted in the cap (often previously perforated to facilitate the operation), the small knob is turned and the aspiration of wine coming out of the tiny tap begins.
