A lovely and original cigar cabinet in elm burr veneer and mouldings of ebony or blackened wood, the lid and 3 sides are made up of figures on galalith panels featuring scenes with putti, cameos, foliage, floral garlands... In used condition, some chips in the veneer, 2 strips of ebony are missing on the back as well as the 4 feet and the key. Inside, the box consists of 5 pull-out drawers in red wood (mahogany?). A very decorative item of lovely quality, in its original unrestored condition. Period: late 19th - early 20th century
