Refined cup with handles on plate, made in Milan, around the first half of the 19th century.
Wonderful set made with many important Italian goldsmith techniques from the 19th century, with refined embossing, chiselling, engraving, gilding (plate and inside the cup).
Plate with mixtilinear profile with spiral and floral decorations repeated on the faceted body of the cup, handles in the shape of ribbed spirals.
Stamp for silver title (anvil), I saw and photographed the stamp found on a specialised book for antique silver hallmarks.
Total weight: 331 grams.
Good condition, probably the silversmith didn’t used the gilding on the outer part of the cup on purpose, considering that it becomes golden with the reflection from the plate, there is a small dent on bottom edge of the cup (highlighted in the last photos together with the hallmarks)
