Half metre wide beautiful 19th century Amsterdam aristocratic peat chest with mother-of-pearl intarsia surrounded by gilding, signed on inside lid.
Stands on four legs and has handles.

Warmoesstraat 182, shop of L.A.C. Victor, hammered and cast ironmongery.
Good condition considering its age, a bit touched up.
46 high x 50 wide including handle x 31 deep.

The peat chest stood near the stove, contained peat for heating, see last photo.
