Description
Cushion case - Oak and Ebony. - 17th century
Netherlands

Stylish Dutch pillow closet.
Nice low size: 192 cm high.
With lots of ebony wood.
Around 1650.
Dutch Baroque - It is the Baroque period by then - Rembrandt is a Baroque painter - strict Dutch Calvinist Baroque.
Also note the shape of the hood, very nice curve.
The lion heads are also very nicely carved.

Inside also completely intact.
Two drawers, which have been re-lined for cutlery.
I'm leaving it like that, for hygienic purposes.
Original ball feet, you don't see that often.
The lock is original and the key is still even there.
At the bottom of a wide drawer over the entire width of the closet.

The doors can be taken out, the hood can taken off.
