This is an extremely rare eye dropper filling safety fountain pen.
It is made by Gold Starry a now defunct French pen manufacturer who can trace their heritage as far back as 1909 and have links to the famous British pen manufacturer Conway Stewart.
This pen has an 18 Karat Gold nib and has engraved on the nib 'Gold Starry, 18ct'.
The pen is the model 256 and was introduced around 1925. The barrel of the pen has engraved on it 'MANUFRE Francaise, Gold Starry, Marque No 256 Defosee'.
The pen has not been tested.
