Two chromo lithographs of the young Nikolaas II and Alexandra.
Presumably these were printed in France on the occasion of the visit of the Tsar and Tsarina to France on 5 to 9 October 1896.
The Tsar was in France not only to open the bridge which is named after his father; Pond Alexandre III, but more so for the secret treaty that Tsar Alexander III had closed with the French; The Franco-Russian alliance.
