Two beautiful porcelain chocolate sets - Limoges 50s
Each set consists of a cup, saucer and lid. The cups each have two handles, the lids have a very nice gold-plated top. This model is called "Trembleuse".
A Trembleuse is a kind of cup, which is held by a round notch in the saucer. This technique was invented by the French manufactory of Saint Cloud around 1700.
All are hand painted in the colours of Sèvres style (blue and light green).
They are richly decorated with gold and beautiful fine flowers and gracefully curved handles.
Dimension: cups Total h 15 cm, diameter below 6.5 cm/top 9.5 cm, diameter saucers approximately 16 cm.
All are in fine condition and marked.
