Wonderful and delicately decorated handmade brooch by Swoboda (USA) from the 50s/60s.
14 karat gold plated bunch of tulips with tulips made of natural angel skin coral and leaves made of natural jade.

Edward Swoboda, a talented jewellery designer, founded Swoboda Inc. in 1956, in Los Angeles.
His jewellery is characterised by wonderful thickly gold plated metal work, set with semi-precious stones and cultured pearls and coral. Swoboda often travelled to South America to search for his gemstones and import them from there.
It is said that his polished gemstones and cultured pearls were unrivalled in costume jewellery.
Swoboda retired in 1979 and is living in Los Angeles. Many of his jewels are very rare and highly valued by collectors.
